Just checking here. Were you aware that CodeDb is an Access Reserved Word used for a separate database called a Library Database? If you are not using a Library Database then you should use CurrentDb like this: Set Db = CurrentDb If you are using a Library Database normally making changes to it from the CurrentDb lasts only until you close the database. When you open the database your changes are gone. If you are using a Library Database and the changes stick please let us know that it works. I will need to add that to my list of Access quirks! ☺ Normally if you need to add a table to a Library Database you need to open that database and then use your code. When have only the Library Database open you use CurrentDb instead of CodeDb.
