Windows Photo Gallery For Mac
All, I have been asked to find an equivalent for Windows Live Gallery for Windows. The reason is this.
Results 1 - 7 - Art Photo Gallery is a tool designed by flash-gallery.com. License: Shareware; OS: Windows XP Windows Vista Mac OS X; Language: EN.
Apparently in Windows Live Gallery, you can point to a network share, and it will suck in thumbnails of every image into your gallery for quick and easy viewing. The only thing I can think of for a Mac for doing what they want is iPhoto, but it wants to import the full files and organize them for you.
Thank you in advance for your advice. Jonathan _____________________________________________________ MacEnterprise, Inc Subscription Options and Archives Greg Neagle 16/3/2009, 16:01 น. I haven't checked on iPhoto '09, but some older versions will then just put aliases in ~/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Originals. GraphicConverter also has a good image browser, but isn't free ($34.95) Cheers, Lars _____________________________________________________ MacEnterprise, Inc Subscription Options and Archives Jonathan Calloway 16/3/2009, 19:25 น. If you do not have a download manager installed, and still want to download the file(s) you've chosen, please note: • You may not be able to download multiple files at the same time. Many web browsers, such as Internet Explorer 9, include a download manager. Stand-alone download managers also are available, including the Microsoft Download Manager. Microsoft excel for mac manual.
If your goal is to see previews of the images on a share, what about using what is built into the OS: * Use Icon View in the Finder. You can resize the icons to represent the pictures as larger thumbnails (View > View Options). You can do so on a folder-by-folder basis, so it doesn't affect your other folders. (If the images do not have previews and they are not built for you, you may want to pre-generate them once with something like the `sips` command line tool.) * [Leopard only] Use the Cover Flow view in the Finder.
* [Leopard only] Select the image files (perhaps with Edit > Select All, if you want an entire folder), press Space to bring up Quick Look, and click on the button for the Index Sheet (image thumbnail browser). If you have enough images selected, you'll be able to scroll through the thumbnails with the mouse scroll wheel et. You can also take both the preview and Index Sheet into full screen mode.

All of these Finder views should work fine on network shares. -- Jeremy Reichman _____________________________________________________ MacEnterprise, Inc Subscription Options and Archives Jonathan Calloway 17/3/2009, 9:30 น. Not sure if it'll be any faster than the Finder in your environment, but you could also try the free iMedia Browser: Cheers, Lars _____________________________________________________ MacEnterprise, Inc Subscription Options and Archives Jeremy Reichman 17/3/2009, 11:07 น.
