Updated March 2017 with additional steps for un-syncing calendars. If you accepted an invitation from someone to share a Google calendar but aren't seeing it on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac; it could be due to your Google Sync settings. Google turns sync off by default for new calendars, particularly shared ones.

It's frustrating, and it's why you can't immediately see them on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac even when you can see them online. Luckily it's also simple to fix — once you know how! How to get shared Google Calendars to show up on iPhone, iPad, and Mac • Launch Safari or any other web browser on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. • Sign in if you aren't already. • Under Shared Calendars, tick the boxes for the calendars you want to see on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It can take a few minutes for the calendars to appear. If they don't appear right away, close the Calendar app and reopen it. Best websites for mac downloads.

Connecting Gmail calendar to Outlook is a popular request and unfortunately, it's not possible unless you use an add-in. However, if you only need a read-only calendar, you can add a Gmail calendar as an Internet Calendar and view your appointments (but not edit or add new appointments).

How to remove personal information. How to stop a calendar from syncing across your devices If you have a shared Google calendar that you only need access to every once in a while, so you don't want it on your iPhone, you can un-sync it. I share a practice space calendar with about a dozen people, which takes up pretty much all the space on my calendar app. Un-syncing it from Google's calendars makes my schedule look a lot less daunting. • Launch Safari or any other web browser on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. • Sign in if you aren't already. • Untick the box for any calendar you don't want to sync with your iPhone or iPad's Calendar app. • Click Save to save the settings.

From now on, those calendars won't even appear as an option for you to add to the built-in Calendar app (or even any third-party app that supports Google Calendar). Any questions?

Google Calendar Not Showing Up In Outlook For Mac

I have Outlook 2016 from Office 365 for home installed. One of the email accounts i have is a Gmail account set up as a POP account.

Everything on that account works great.Outlook can see the calendar, and it all works great. I've recently set up a new Gmail account that I've established as an IMAP account. That account works as far as email, but the calendar for that new account isn't showing up in the 'My Calendars' list. My goal for this account is to eventually delete the original account, but I use the calendar a lot, so this throws a wrinkle in the game. I know I can use apps such as CompanionLink to sync Outlook to the new Gmail account.which would be sufficient.

It's just really puzzling why it won't appear in my Calendar list. I did chat with MS Support, but I got a script reader that didn't speak English very well. I eventually got it that Outlook can't see the IMAP account calendar.

It just sounded strange, so I thought I'd throw it out here to the other 'gurus' and just try and confirm what he said. Well, I discovered it's not the issue of it being an IMAP account. Thinking that was the case, I removed the new account from Outlook and recreated it as a POP account, following Google's instruction. I still cannot see that new calendar the 'My Calendar' lists. I imagine I need to create the calendar in Outlook first and direct it to Google, but I've never done that before.
